Gadisa is a Galician business group in the food distribution sector. It was founded in 1985 by Roberto Tojeiro Díaz and presided over by Roberto Tojeiro Rodríguez. It has its location in Piadela, Betanzos. This company has around 7000 people. Has a fleet of approximately 200 trucks for its distribution. In 1979 the first one opened under the ALDI brand and in 1995 changed the name to the current one. It is part of the group of companies like Reganosa, Intasa, Galparket, etc.

The more than 200 supermarkets Gadis specialized in fresh products, are distributed by the Galician provinces, León, Palencia, Salamanca and Valladolid.

One of the advertising slogans of this brand known as "we live as Galicians", won the Maestro Mateo award in 2007.

It is a company that handles proximity to the customer to better meet the needs of customers by offering them a quality-price service. This company is in charge of the distribution companies.

In this platform we have an automated line, which orders and sorts fruit and vegetables for distribution to all GADISA outlets. This system reinforces the Prevention of Occupational Risks since the operators receive the boxes of products to a standard height, avoiding movements and positions of risk.

The company Gadis, sponsor of the Spanish Paralympic Team, was one of the winners during the gala of delivery of the VIII Solidarity Awards ONCE Galicia, celebrated last September 30 in the Teatro Colón de La Coruña. Gadis stood out for the social, cultural, sporting and solidarity work that he does for vulnerable groups or at risk of social exclusion.

The CEO of Gadisa, Roberto Tojeiro Rodríguez, has been awarded the Entrepreneurial Leadership Award of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of La Coruña (CEC), created in 2007 to recognize the most outstanding entrepreneurs.

The jury, made up of the Executive Committee of the employers of Coruña, highlighted the contribution of Gadisa to the "growth of the Galician economy" and its contribution to the "generation of employment" in the last thirty years.
