For example, I have used gamification this term to reward students for their good deeds and bad deeds which involves earning XP points which then later can be redeemed for different rewards that they want to enjoy. I have noticed a much higher class participation and eagerness compared to the last academic year and even though it's too early to conclude, the incentive system is most likely to have played a significant role.
