° Who are you as a consumer?

I'm a consumer who loves to buy or consume a product that is affordable, has a good review or quality and proven and tested because l learned from my past mistakes. There's this one time, I bought a product online without looking at the reviews and I ended receiving the wrong product. It really became my eye opener when it comes to buying things. Now I can say that I have more awareness that leads me to be a good consumer.

° When buying something, which do you weigh most, quality over price, or price over quality?

In my case, I prefer price over quality. When it comes to purchasing product I chose the affordable ones due to the fact that I'm just a student and has no work, I don't earn much. My parents provided me always with what I need and not the wants. All I did was to save what was left in my allowance so that I can buy the things that I want in the future that's why I prefer price over quality when buying something.

° What is the most common problem you've encountered as a consumer?

The common problem I encountered as a consumer is that when I really wanted to buy a product but they are too expensive. So the problem was a High price. Now a days we evolve at the fastest rate where everything is expensive. In the past, a one thousand pesos worth of groceries can last up to a month now it only last for a week. Everything became expensive.

° Which do you prefer to buy, original brands or local brands?

When buying, I prefer local brand because it's more affordable and less disappointment.

° Why should we Study about Consumer Education?

I feel that everyone should know or study about Consumer education so that we know our rights, the factors, and the right behavior when it comes to purchasing. It also raise awareness and it will help us choose the best. Everyone is a consumer so studying about Consumer Education is a must.

Here are the Word Art that I created, and the Ten words that I've chosen. To begin with:

Consumer - We all knew that consumers have the right to be informed, the right to choose, the right to safety, the right to be heard, the right to have problems corrected, the right to consumer education, and the right to service.

Rights- As a consumer, I have a right to receive accurate information about the consumers rights. Consumers can make wise decisions only if they have the information they need. These rights protect people when a product is defective.

Responsibilities- Along with rights come responsibilities. As a consumer, I have the responsibility to educate myself. If information about a product is available, I have the responsibility to read that information and to use the product the way it is intended.

Behavior-Understanding consumer behaviour is important for businesses because it can help them to make better decisions about their products and services. By understanding why people purchase certain products and how they use them, businesses can adapt their offerings to better suit the needs and wants of their target market.

Product- Businesses compete with each other to sell their products to consumers. I have the rights to choose a product though there are many goods to choose from in the market getting more information about the product by visiting different stores, discussing with friends and relatives, reading, listening and watching advertisements in media and on the Internet helps in the decision making process.

Services- I have the right to expect prompt delivery of goods or services that meet the standard of quality a business claims. You also have the right to be served without discrimi- nation on the basis of your race, gender, income, or age. These rights apply wherever you are being served.

Wants-Marketing creates an imagination and idea about a product in minds of people which eventually turns into a want for that product and ultimately a person starts taking actions to achieve that want.

Needs- Needs of a person are crystallized as wants and in order to fulfill wants, a person takes some actions. As a result of the actions taken, wants of a person are satisfied. Knowing and understanding my needs. I can finally say that I'm a responsible consumer.

Price- Price creates the first impression and may influence consumer to purchase that brand. Having an ideal price convinces consumers to choose the product over other competitors.

Quality- It is the extent to which an individual's needs are satisfied with a product's features. For many consumers quality is a key aspect of consideration when purchasing a product.

The first time you use the camera, the screen went black then you tried it again it's still the same. The good news is that you have rights as a consumer. These rights protect you when a product is defective. If the customer takes a defective item back to a store with a receipt, the business will replace it or issue a refund. If a business cannot or will not correct a problem, consumers can write to the manufacturer to find out how to get the matter resolved.

Examples: Reducing pollution, conserving resources, and recycling are also responsibilities. We need to refuse using plastic bags, straws, disposable water bottles and coffee cups, single-use plastics instead use reusable options. After all, they're usually little more than a few small lines and numbers on the back of the products we buy. But in reality, barcodes are the key to helping retail stores run smoothly. So with the help of this barcode we are now able to easily checked a product's price, origin, and many more.

The greatest limit on a barcode is that the more information stored, the larger the barcode must be. The barcode of this product came from Saudi Arabia which starts from 628. Saudi Arabia Barcodes for Retail Products are EAN Format Barcodes. Most products in Saudi Arabia’s retail stores use EAN barcodes (also called EAN-13 barcodes).

All products exported to the Saudi market must display bar codes on the packaging, and the bar code is made up of 13 digits.
