         <title>CULTIVATE STUDENTS INTEREST IN THE LEARNING PROCESS-----------------------------------------------------This is a good point that i would love to raise more point on and i would like to use my own country as a case study,Fed.Republic of Nigeria and to start with,there would be a lot of motivational factors which would make this come to reality as the country statndard of living together with high rate of unemployments among others are some of what makes the students turning deaf hears to learning in school but rather prefer work that would brings them daily fortunes to sustain their daily consumption to the extents that they would leave their respectives homes but goes to where they would do a daily cheap labor which would fetch them money because what criteria can we use to measure the yardstick of students that left hom without eating nor giving money to buy food.Do you expect such to learn in the first place.  By so doing,the following are motivational factors that would enhance at least 99 percent of mastering of knowledge for the students...Provision of school meal to students in the morning and break timeProvison of viable instructional materials to aid teaching properRe-orientation of both the parents and students on the advantage of education.Provision of writing materials to the studentsReduction in the cost of school fees because of single parents with many childs in the rural areasProvision of adequate work for the unemployed youths is also another factor that would motivate the students because they knew their educated brothers and sisters at home are just roaming about the street and this added to this menace there by changing their mind from going to school to learn.Secondly,to build students confidence in the subject taught lies on the hand of the school counsellor and the subject teacher. To be candid,most of the students here in Nigeria does not know why they are in school likewise their parents as they do so just to compete with their neighbours and avoid abusing,harrasment of not sening their children to school. Though ,the fault is not theirs but the Government who display the non cahallant attitude of just negletting the unemployed youths from getting job,no financial support,unchallant attitude as regard price control,bad economic policies and lots more. So as a result of that,most parents believe its not important going to school before one can make it and prosper in life as there are many illiterates that controls the professional and if all these are provided by the government and the school counsellors were also in place to shape and give proper counselling to the students,they would have focus and the subject teacher been friendly,discipline and well codinated,the confidence would be built on the students so that they can choose where they want to belong in future as a result of all the afore mentioned above.Thirdly,in helping students setting up a goal to achieve,it would be a team work of the school counsellor,the subject teacher and parents where each of them help the students by play their own quota and role. For instance,a reading culture should be imbibe on the students by either the counsellor or the students class teacher by imbibe on the students in drawing a reading time table properly monitored by the parents at home while the teacher cross check whatever the students did at home in the school so as to make the students improve for better and what ever target or goals set by the students would be achieved at the end of the day.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nadiia<br><br>Personalization  is commonly accepted as a vital part of language learning and I would like to express my attitude towards Personalization. </div><div><br></div><div>In the first place, I’ve been a fan of  <strong>Personalized Learning for many years, even not knowing this terminology. For me, every student is special and brilliant and I always try to bring out the best in them, developing their skills and abilities, encouraging them to do one more step on the ladder of learning English to reach the top where they can find the most delicious fruit- live communication with people from all over the world. </strong></div><div><strong>It goes without saying, that Personalized Learning requires knowing students your very well. What I mean is their </strong>interests, learning styles, and their ability levels. In this case, I can cater for their needs and choose the activities which match their interests. Only knowing them, I can chat with them as with my friends, discussing different topics, relevant to them and showing deep understanding of them (I mean, topics). Let’s say, I know that my student or several students like rock music. I won’t necessarily tell them that I also like it, because, I, actually, don’t, but if I start talking about Linking Park or Green Day, I think, I’ll motivate them either to talk about these bands, or, at least,  to ask me how  I know them. Then, we can listen to their music and do some engaging activities with lyrics. Or, for example, several girls adore dancing. Having known that, I start telling about my son’s break dance battle and famous break dancers who competed with him. Believe me, lots of questions arise and I provoke further conversation by asking about their style of dancing, favourite dancers, different concerts and so on.<br><br></div><div>Secondly, knowing my students’ ability levels allows me to  differentiate instructions, find all opportunities for remediation to help struggling learners, and understand how to provide enrichment to challenge the advanced student(s).<br><br></div><div>As one of the cons, some teachers say that personalization requires more preparation for the lessons, using more resources than for traditional lessons, high classroom management skills. I can’t but agree with this point of view, but, for me, these are rather challenges than disadvantages. Besides, in today’s world of computer technologies it’s not a big deal to find and print some handouts, worksheets or even ready lesson plans and adapt or modify  them keeping personalization in mind.<br><br></div><div>In conclusion, I feel that more and more teachers implement Personalization in their teaching and I hope that in the nearest future there will be more teachers up for our side!<br><br></div><div> <br><br></div><div> <br><br></div><div> <br><br></div>]]></description>

They communicate, collaborate, create, use ICT, develop all kinds of skills and have much fun. <br>I can also recommend using such online tools as Kahoot, Padlet, Symbaloo, Storybird, Code Reader, Ourboox, Kizoa, Mentimeter, Glogster and others for making learning more engaging.</div>]]></description>

For that reason, and because of a lack of adequate tools, teachers do not efficiently</div><div>&nbsp;personalize pedagogical activities.&nbsp;</div><div>Personalization is a multi-faceted research question. It can concern paper and pencil activities, Interactive&nbsp;</div><div>Learning Environments (ILEs), interactions between&nbsp;</div><div>teachers (or interactive environments) and students</div><div>, etc. In any case, the personalization process has to rely on specific information about the context, the activities, and, most of all, about learners. Usually, information about a given learner is gathered into “learners profiles”, containing elements&nbsp;</div><div>characterizing knowledge, skills, perceptions, and/</div><div>or behaviour.
