Name

My name means "favor," "grace," or "God has favored me. My parents had chosen my name as Hanna because My dad has always liked that name. He was going to name me after his mom but they ended up putting it for a middle name. I like my name i think it fits me but when i was little i used to not like it but i think i wasn't used to it and how people said it in a diffident ton then how some people say it in Thai. I think over time I got used to it and I like it now.

Food

I was born in Thailand and have lived there for half of my life so I love to go to Thai town or when my mom makes Thai food that is the only thing she knows how to make. One of my favorite foods in Thailand is probably how they make their noodles.

Family

When people ask me what my ethnicity is I always say I'm Thai. People are surprised that I speak Thai and that they think I'm Hispanic even though my dad is Hispanic and white i have more Thai in me even though I don't look like it. Thailand is in Asia near Cambodia and the Hispanic side of me is from Panama.

Clothing

One thing that defines me is my lashes and my hoops. I love lashes. It makes me not look like a bum even on my lazy days. One thing in my culture is not to use your feet on anything in disrespectful way so I away have my toes done to look nice even though I school people can’t see is but at home i have to take of the shoes before going in and i can’t have the shoe on inside the house because my mom says that is very disrespectful, that why I also get my nails done too but it depend when i have money because i have to learn how to save up.

You don’t “end up” with a meaningful life, you create it.” I had picked this quote because we actually do have to create our life, what happens to it or what we decide to do and depend on what is going to happen. When I was little I never thought I would actually move to LA but here I am.

My hero is my dad. I love my mom but my dad is my best friend. I was always with him more when I was little because my mom would always be at work or I was in Thailand with my dad and my mom was in America trying to get her papers. My dad knows what goes on in my life but everything I do is a problem for my mom. but in my life he doesn’t argue and he is always here even when i didn’t want him to. Take me everywhere I want ( to go to my friends house or to take me out to dinner). He has alway inspired me to actually want to do something challenging and push me to do my best but I need to try.

Traditions

I have picked traditions because when I used to live in Thailand there was this one holiday that was my favorite and I wish people did this in America. It was a crats people would get flowers, planes base and to hold everything together they would use toothpicks and there would be candles on them. After you are done making it at night you go to the river and float it. Is bacilly a festival, celebrating water goddesses using nature. But it differs here because there isn't a river everywhere and when I lived in Thailand I lived in the mountains area.

Holidays

I picked Holidays because in Thailand there is this fun holiday that I used to be excited for when I was a kid. It's called sonkran its, Thai national holiday. Songkran is on 13 April but it keeps going unit April of 14 or 15 but what people do is is trow water that people. We use to get in the truck and go to the city's it was so fun while in the back we would trow water and everyone would be out of the house towering water from the drought of the house so people in the car would get wet to. this water festival marks the beginning of the traditional Thai New Year, a sign of respect and well-wishing, as revelers hope to wash away bad luck.

Travel

I love traveling. When I used to live in Thailand I would travel to Florida to see my grandma. I would also go to California to visit my mom because she would be over here getting her papers. After she got everything she needed, I moved to LA. I moved to Florida a few years after that to move with my sister. When I was living with her. We would go in her Rv and go to Pennsylvania. While I was there I went zip lining. We want to go to Hershey park. After my dad had gotten better I moved back to california. It has been 3 years since I moved back here and sometimes I wish I could move back to Thailand or Florida but I know it's not worth it.
