Some of the positives are that we can easily research/find items online without having to go to the library, it also makes sharing document and ideas a lot easier. 
Some negatives are that we can easily get off task by playing game or start doing other things while we pretend to take notes.

I believe some classes it can be beneficial to have technology, such as to run programs or do research.
