Johnson: Honestly, I find this activity quite useless for me at this point, as I already know myself pretty well. Why do you think I came to Applied Science in the first place.
Rosa: Through this activity, I've learnt that we have to be able to understand ourselves before we can understand others. While discovering our weaknesses and strengths, we can then overcome challenges and celebrate victories.
Celine: The test made me understand myself more as a person. I get to know my personality better be it the good or the bad side. I also learn of the different career paths that maybe suitable for me.
Eugenia: This activity has helped me in better understanding myself, about what are the things that I am good at, also the different careers that are suitable for me.
Gladys: Through this activity, i learnt more about my classmates and myself. Since the test showed different advantages and disadvantages to each kind of personality trait, i was able to identify my shortcomings and improve thereafter.

Relationship Management (Class community project planning)
Johnson: It is inevitable that some people do more than others (fyi I didn't do much), but in the end, everyone's effort culminate in a successful community project.
Rosa: As a class, we learnt how to take matters into our own hands and work together to come up with feasible ideas.
Celine: The planning made me and my classmates closer as we learnt to communicate better to come up with an acitivity that the elderly might enjoy.
Eugenia: Through this activity, I have learnt how to better communicate with my peers and work together as a team.
Gladys: I learnt how to communicate my ideas effectively and also be open to new suggestions. Johnson: These events have taught me of the very real things that can happen within the community I live in, and it also taught me how to act and what to do if I encounter these situations.
Rosa: This talk has taught me how to think before I act and to be constantly alert. We should learn not to be oblivious individuals but individuals who act when we feel that something isn't right.
Celine: I learnt on what to do during emergencies. From the CPR-AED workshop i learn that when someone collapsed, I should stay calm and act fast. From the SG Secure talk and CNB talk, I learnt to be more aware of my surrouding.
Eugenia: Through this talk, I have learnt that we need to take note of our surroundings and to always stay alert and be prepared.
Gladys: This talk introduced me to the Sg Secure application and also taught me to be vigilant at all times.

Community Service-In-Action (Visit to Elderly Home on 24 Jan)
Johnson: It is apparent that the elderly get very bored in the elderly home, and the main reason that they are always very happy to see us is because the finally have someone new to talk to, or hopefully something more interesting to interact with.
Rosa: The visit to the Jamiyah Home for the Aged has definitely been a memorable experience for me. I've learnt that the elderly will participate in any activity that has been planned for them, but they will appreciate the simple things, like having someone to talk to.
Celine: The visit to the elderly home made me realize that the elderly are weak and lonely. They are very enthusiastic and willing to play games with us. They are also very chatty and love to talk to us no matter what the topic is.
Eugenia: I have learnt that sometimes we do not need to have many activities, All we need to do is to just lend an ear.
Gladys: The visit was very fruitful to me as i was able to interact with the elderly and also lend a listening year to the elderly who might not have much company.

Cross-cultural skills (Local day trip on 9 Jan)
Johnson: I thoroughly enjoyed this cultural trip, but I hope that we can also learn about the other cultures that have found a community in Singapore.
Rosa: This local trip has made me learn more about the different cultures in Singapore and how each culture influences the other and is interconnected in one way or another. We had the opportunity to experience the different art forms and I genuinely had a good time.
Celine: This made me realize that the difference culture in Singapore are actually influnced from one another. I learnt of the different trasditional dances, and musical instruments that different races used to play often back in the day.
Eugenia: Through this activity i have gathered more knowledge on the arts of the different races in Singapore.
Gladys: I learnt more about the types of art each culture has. We also got a chance to participate and watch the different performances from each culture.

Johnson: This is the same 'motivational' speech we have heard many a times. Some may find it inspiring, but, frankly, this isn't for me. Furthermore, I don't see myself ever being an entrepreneur, and if I somehow do become one, I'm sure I'll be fine. There will be people I can talk to, and resources I can look up.
Rosa: I've learnt that success requires passion. Being an entrepreneur and setting up a social enterprise is not an easy job. Social entrepreneurs give vulnerable people the opportunity to be apart of something bigger, and for their lives to be uplifted through training and employment.
Celine: I learnt that being an entrepreneur is hard and require bravery as many bound to fail many times before succeeding. Visiting a Social Enterprise is also very memorable for me, as it made me realize that there will always be kind people around.
Eugenia: I have learnt that even the most successful people have to experience setbacks, but the most important thing is how they deal with it. (stay or move on)
Gladys: I learnt that the path to success is not easy. But persevering  and staying committed will help you through the tough times.
