He had a stick in each hand and placed it on one of the metal bowls on the table or hanging up by the string. He used his hands alternatively to hit the instruments on the table then gradually moved to the hanging ones. He then moved onto the activity with the girl by placing a stick through one of the instruments. He used his fine motor skills to develop his hand muscles. 
Bob also showed a bit of social development by interacting and helping the other girl make the different sounds.   

LO 1.4.1 and 1.2.2- This is evident by Bob exploring with the other child on how to make the different sounds using the same materials.

LO 5.2.1- Bob demonstrated that he can create a rhythm while using a variety of instruments.
