Based on what was discussed in the video, why do you think photography was a convincing tool to help end child labor in the U.S.?
-It was visible proof that children were working long hard hours every single day.
What was the ethical problems associated with employing children under the age of 16?
-Kids as young as four were working long hours into the night. Kids were mentally and physically exhausted constantly. They were being abused, injured, and working in horrible factories. This is all very ethically and morally wrong. They had no actual childhood. Kids really had no choice because families needed money.

Based on the way information is presented in this video, do you believe NBC contains some bias towards one side of the issue? Why or why not?
-No, I do not believe so because NBC talked to her about her story, and also talked to several other people too. They got most sides.

What motive could this publication company (NBC) have for publishing this story?
-The motive could have been that NBC wants to show what actually happens at really well-known factories

What information, if any, is left out or not addressed adequately?
-NBC did not talk to any employees that had good experiences, and also Amazon did not explain why they would not let her go to the doctor.

Forester would think about that technology? Why?
- I think this author would be one to use this kind of thing because everything is through technology. And they could use is it to talk to their families even it was not them.

Based on the information described in the video, what moral dilemma do self-driving cars create?
-The moral dilemma is that the self-driving car acts on decisions when we act on reacting.
In your opinion, what type of "code" should self-driving cars have? (prioritize the driver's life, minimize damage, minimize harm to other drivers, etc.) Why?
- In my opinion, I think that these cars should try to minimize damage to surrounding vehicles.

The topic of today's short story is "social progress."

Based on what you've seen in the video, decide whether or not this is progress? Why or why not?
- I do think this is progress because it is more efficient and can get done faster. Using robots and sorting the plants is really smart. Although when the video stated how other crops travel 2,000 miles to get to grocery stores these crops will probably do the same thing.
What implications does this new technology have for farmers? Are the effects positive, negative, or both?
-I think the effects can be seen in a positive and negative view. Starting with the positives, there are robots working so people do not have to get tired. These plants are not getting sprayed with pesticides and chemicals as regular crops do. However, there are also several negatives. For example, using robots does not allow actual people to have jobs and also takes a lot of technology.

When the second group of aliens came everyone loved them.

What findings discussed in the article are similar to what is discussed in the story? Cite a piece of evidence from the article to support your answer. ----People in the story react in all types of different ways when the aliens appear. In the article, Paul C Holinger M.D. says, While in a peaceful, secure world, differences can be a source of curiosity, exploration, and enjoyment. In an insecure, frightening world, they may be a source of fear, envy, and rage, potential dangers to be avoided or battled.

In your own experience, are the article's findings accurate?

Would you ever be interested in living in a place like Green Bank, WV? Why or why not?
- I would never want to live here. I am a person that can not stand not being able to talk to people I don't get to on a daily basis.
Do you think it's ethical for parents of children in that area to force them to live there?
- No because nowadays our world is surrounded by technology so if they were just introduced to something else they would not know what to do.
What benefits and/or detriments does this kind of community offer?
-A benefit would be that it is peaceful and people would actually experience what life was like. Detriments would be going somewhere else completely different.
