Product: Ostrovit Creatine (health supplement) from Poland.

Ostrovit creatine is a product of a company based in Poland, so in order for this product to be distributed to Vietnamese users, Ostrovit must completely rely on third-party retailers. Retail support businesses for Ostrovit are often shops selling sports and health products. Speaking specifically about Ostrovit's creatine product, they define the customer group of this product as young people, teenagers and athletes aged 18-30 years old. That's why they combine product distribution through direct stores with distribution through e-commerce platforms such as shopee, lazada, tiktok shop, even these retail shops also have websites for product sales.

Gia Ky Cosmetic is a new cosmetics brand that I've recently fallen in love with, launched in March 2024 by the hot rich kid Gia Ky. The brand's debut product is a lipstick collection consisting of 6 shades with unique and intriguing names such as " Oánh ghen", "Tỉnh lại liền." These are matte liquid lipsticks, vegan-friendly. With his fame and influence on social media, the owner of this brand is actively promoting the product on TikTok and Instagram. Currently, their products are being promoted moderately, only available for sale on Shopee, TikTokShop, and Instagram, officially managed by Gia Ky. I've purchased one of his products on TikTokShop and am quite satisfied with the quality compared to the price.

Product: Album Kpop

A Kpop album's route from the factory to the consumer's hands usually consists of multiple steps:

Production: Kpop albums are made in factories in large quantities. This includes printing the record artwork, burning the CDs or DVDs, and packing them with any additional extras like photo cards, posters, or lyric booklets.

Once the records are created, they are distributed to a variety of sources, including music stores, internet retailers, and entertainment corporations. Distribution can take place both within South Korea and globally to appeal to the worldwide Kpop following.

Retail: Kpop records are available through a variety of channels, including physical stores, online markets, and official fan shops. Fans can buy records in person or online, with many preferring to pre-order limited editions or special merchandise.

International orders are transported from distribution facilities or shops to customers all around the world. This includes properly packing the albums to prevent damage during transit and selecting shipping options that guarantee timely delivery.

Finally, fans receive their Kpop CDs and enjoy both the music and the supplementary content, which includes photobooks, posters, and collectible goods. Fans can also post their unboxing experiences and album reviews on social media, adding to the larger Kpop community.

Intermediaries connected with K-pop records usually include:

Record labels sign and manage K-pop acts. They manage album production, distribution, and promotion.

Music producers create, arrange, and produce music for K-pop albums. They collaborate closely with artists to develop songs that reflect their style and concept.

Entertainment agencies oversee K-pop performers' careers, from training and promotion to scheduling and contracts.

Distributors: They are in charge of getting albums into retailers, both physical and digital.

My favorite brand is Yonex, as I am a badminton enthusiast myself. And below are the steps for Yonex’s racket to come to me:

Possible Journey:

Manufacturing: Yonex likely uses a combination of in-house factories (maybe in Japan or Taiwan) and contracted manufacturers in Asia.

Components: The racket is built from various parts - frame, shaft, strings, grip, etc. These might be made in separate facilities and shipped to the main assembly plant.

Assembly: The racket parts are put together at the main factory. Quality checks happen here to ensure everything meets Yonex's standards.

Distribution Center: The finished rackets are shipped to a large regional distribution center. This center acts as a hub, storing and managing inventory for a specific area (e.g., Southeast Asia).

Wholesalers: Yonex might sell in bulk to wholesalers who deal in sporting goods. These wholesalers buy a large quantity of rackets at a discounted price and then distribute them to smaller retailers.

Retailers: Sporting goods stores, badminton specialty shops, or even online retailers purchase rackets from wholesalers or directly from Yonex. This is where you'd likely find the racket you want to buy.

Intermediaries Involved:

Manufacturers: Yonex themselves or their contracted partners who make the various parts and assemble the final racket.

Distributors: The companies that manage large warehouses and distribute Yonex products to retailers.

Wholesalers (optional): Businesses that buy in bulk from Yonex and then sell to smaller retailers.

Retailers: Sporting goods stores, online retailers, or any shop that sells Yonex badminton rackets to individual customers like you.

Initially, material suppliers provide the innovative and high-quality materials that are characteristic of Uniqlo's thermal wear. These materials then make their way to Uniqlo's manufacturing facilities, where the products are designed and produced for detail and quality. Once the thermal wear is ready, logistics companies step in to transport these products from the manufacturing plants to various distribution centers around the globe. These distribution centers serve as pivotal points, storing large quantities of products and managing inventory before the items are dispatched to retail outlets. Finally, consumers can purchase the thermal wear directly from Uniqlo stores or through online platforms. For those who opt for online shopping, delivery services ensure that the product reaches the consumer's doorstep, completing the journey from factory to consumer with efficiency and care.

Đào Thị Linh Chi 22070550

My favorite brand is Uniqlo, a popular Japanese clothing brand

· Manufacturing:

Uniqlo manufactures its clothing in factories located primarily in Asia, including countries like China, Vietnam, and Bangladesh. These factories receive raw materials such as fabrics and textiles and then transform them into finished garments following Uniqlo's designs and quality standards.

· Distribution:

Once the garments are produced, they are shipped to distribution centers or warehouses. From there, they are distributed to various destinations worldwide. Uniqlo has a complex distribution network that involves logistics companies and transportation providers to ensure efficient movement of its products.

· Retail:

Uniqlo operates its retail stores globally: UNIQLO Japan had 800 stores (including 10 franchise stores) at the end of August 2023. UNIQLO International boasted over double that number at 1,634 stores, including the Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan markets) region: 1,031, South Korea: 126, Southeast Asia, India & Australia: 342, North America: 67, and Europe: 68. We continue to open large numbers of new stores and enhance community-rooted stores that showcase local history and culture.

Our e-commerce operation is growing increasingly important as more customers shop both in store and online. In FY2023, online sales accounted for approximately 15% of total sales (15.0% in Japan, approximately 20% in the Greater China region, South Korea, North America, and Europe, and approximately 10% in Southeast Asia, India & Australia). We intend to expand integrated store and e-commerce services that enable customers to shop conveniently when and how it suits them, and to strengthen our role as an information-sharing platform through UNIQLO LIVE STATION and other services.

· Wholesale and Franchise Partnerships:

In addition to its own retail stores, Uniqlo also partners with wholesalers and franchisees to expand its reach. These intermediaries purchase Uniqlo products in bulk and sell them to retailers or operate Uniqlo-branded stores under franchise agreements.

· Marketing and Advertising:

Each season, UNIQLO conducts promotional campaigns for core products such as HEATTECH, Ultra Light Down, AIRism, and Bra Tops. During the campaigns, UNIQLO advertises the products' unique qualities and features through TV commercials and online ads. In Japan, we use UNIQLO apps, email, social media, and flyers delivered with newspapers to notify customers about limited-period discounts, typically of 20-30%, on new seasonal ranges.

Recently, they have created a shop on Shopee so that you can easily search for products and they have opened a direct sale in Chua Lang side for those who want to come to the place to choose. What I love about Ruych is that the quality is so great at an affordable price, they don't need to promote too much, they use their own customers to promote themselves.Because they are quite new and independent, their products go directly from the place of production to their direct retail channel without any intermediaries, which helps the products to be accessed quickly and they can quickly fix their shortcomings.

They carefully select the ingredients, such as natural oils, waxes… to ensure the highest quality and performance. The ingredients are then mixed and heated in a precise process to create the desired texture and color. When it is complete, it’s poured into molds specific to each lipstick shape and design. After the lipsticks are molded, they are cooled and solidified. The final step is to inspect each lipstick for quality, ensuring that it meets Dior's high standards for color, consistency, and durability. When the lipsticks are approved, they are packaged and shipped to Dior retailers around the world. Dior define the customers group of their product as young to middle-aged people, from 18-45 years old.
