In a 3rd-grade class, students are learning about local animals and their habitats. Students are then able to collaborate using Google Classroom as a tool to post fun facts they have learned about a chosen animal(s). Parents may also participate in learning through this tool by engaging in a"virtual gallery walk". Here is where parents can see their children's projects and express their thoughts through comments left on their assignments.

A 2nd-grade class can create a "Book Recommendation Wall" on Padlet. Each student will be asked to add a photo of their favorite book cover onto a shared Padlet. Students can also write a short description as to why they recommend the book. This shared Padlet allows students to engage in each other's posts and start conversations about varying topics and interests.

Teachers can send alerts and reminders to parents and students about school meetings or emergency updates. These real-time updates can ensure that parents stay updated with the most recent school/ classroom events.
