It helps ensure that participants get an opportunity to have their voice be heard and practice their leadership skills. Additionally, it keeps the meetings interesting for all participants since every meeting might be led with a totally different style from the meeting before. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Yes, conflicts arise. However, most conflicts can be avoided or resolved when their is a strong foundation of trust. It is important for teacher leaders and administration to establish this foundation of safety and trust through relationship building, accountability, and kindness. Especially in a school setting, faculty and administration must have trust within and between roles in order to foster an honest, progressive dialogue as it pertains to the best interest of students. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Book clubs can be a great way to encourage professional development and promote the dispersion of new ideas. Book clubs can be as big or small as desired and can be subject area specific or more general in terms of best practices in the classroom (management, data analysis, etc).&nbsp;Teachers can then discuss what they're reading and learning together, or may even take turns presenting different sections of a text to the larger group.</div>]]></description>

It gives participants, in this case teachers, a unique problem to try and solve working together. This helps teachers and administrators learn about one another, including strengths and weaknesses. These strengths and weaknesses can then be applied in the framework of educating students. </div>]]></description>
