Throughout WW2 there were many technologies and advancements that were being used during the war on Japan in 1945. The advances in technology during World War II helped that allied powers win included technology like Radars, cavity magnetron, and the rapid progress of computers.

The first Radar system to be created/produced was back in by 1935, and during World War II, Robert Watson-watt, played a huge role in the technological advancement due the reason he had built a large network of radar along the South and East coast. This played a huge role in the technological Advancement department in the year 1940s when World War 2 was going on. The radar's goal was to use the electromagnetic radiation as a weapon. “Their first idea that they had was that if we could send a beam of electromagnetic energy at a plane, maybe we could kill the pilot by cooking them or something,” Wallace says. Therefore, this shows how it allowed allies to see where enemies were coming from and they would use the radars as a form of a weapon to kill the pilots or anyone that wasn't welcome.

The first ever Cavity Magnetron to be discovered/created was back in 1940. The Cavity Magnetron made a huge impact in WW2 because it had improved the radar technology. Therefore, when the cavity magnetron had improved its radar technology this had helped the allies gain an advantage so that they could eventually win the war, because it also allowed for more accurate detection of enemy aircrafts and it would help the allies disrupt enemy communication.

Back in the year 1940 was when the rapid progress of computer were invented/created. This technological advancement was mainly for the woman, but it did make a great and huge impact on World War II. These computers were used for various purposes during the war. For example they were used for code-breaking and calculating artillery, which is like a way to figure out how to aim and shoot things from a distance, angles or anything. Computers were also used to decipher the enemies code which was useful because it ended up helping and giving the allies the advantage of having victory in World War II.
