         <title>Henry Bessemer</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sir Henry Bessemer was an English inventor. He developed the first process for  manufacturing steel inexpensively. It was the first cost-efficient industrial process for large scale production of steel from molten pig iron by taking out impurities from pig iron using an air blast.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Cornelius Vanderbilt was an American business magnate who built his wealth in railroads and shipping. Vanderbilt worked his way into leadership positions in the inland water trade and invested in the rapidly growing railroad industry.He was a self-made multi-millionaire who became one of the wealthiest Americans of the 19th century. In the 1860's, he shifted his focus to the railroad industry, where he built another empire and helped make railroad transportation more efficient. He started the family business by borrowing $100 from his mother and piloting a passenger boat on Staten Island in 1810.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Edwin Drake, also known as Colonel Drake, was an American businessman and the first American to successfully drill for oil. Though he drilled only three oil wells in his lifetime, Edwin Drake is known as the "Father of the Petroleum Industry". His innovative method of drilling for oil using an iron pipe not only caused a "black gold rush" but also placed him in the books of oil industry history. He devised to drill the first commercial oil well in the United States revolutionized how crude oil was produced and launched the large-scale petroleum industry.
