But my Grandma educated me with her wise words, the small things she used to say to me and my siblings that have carried me far into life. She put samoan bible scriptures into my head and blood. Runs purely now. She taught me that the small things in life have the biggest impacts. She taught me that life isn't always rainbows and butterflies, and that a rough patch in life is either a lesson  or a blessing. These are only a few things she taught me. But there is one thing that her absence has taught me.. It has taught me to show your love towards those you truly care about before it's too. I had many regrets that I held and dwelled on for a long while.. I regretted many things and one big thing is, I should've shown I loved her more often, Appreciated the small things she did for me and my siblings, treated the small moments like gold, cause now I wont get those moments. My brother has taught me patience, taught me that sometimes in a tough situation you have to be the bigger person. He also taught me to understand things from different perspectives, because things aren't always the way it sounds, there is always a backstory and to understand it before you speak. He also taught me that sometimes you don't need to say anything, you're present to all that person needs.This taught me to only speak when it's necessary and if it's not necessary then don't speak. It taught me to know my place of what to say,when to say and how to say. I speak depending on my audience, thanks to my brother. He taught me to be supportive for those who need it. My brother has taught me how to be humble, respectful, and mindful. Growing up with him as a big brother figure was a huge help to me. I watched her struggle financially but she always had a bright smile and made sure her kids and I were all happy she stayed strong minded no matter that situation she was in. She didn't have the biggest house or the fanciest stuff but she was happy.

With her 9 years of life she’s already taught me to appreciate the little things. Waking up in the morning, functioning the same as other and being normalised etc. 
My younger sister has been bullied by children in her kindergarten, mistreated by her teachers also in kindergarten, been publicly discriminated by ignorant people & has had death knocking at her front door. My sister is autistic and the jokes that are normalised by people honestly enrages me. At the age of 4 my sister came home with bruises because she was mistreated by her peers and teachers. Age 7 my sister went through her first seizure, throughout the year she had been through multiple long lasting seizures. Her seizures were not normal they lasted hours and due to this it affected her brain severely. Already she had autism, having seizures too? How could a child bare that much? 
Doctors all had their say on what they thought about my sister. Some said that if her seizures continued life wouldn’t be able to bring her back. Others said that regarding her autism she may not be able to achieve the basic skills most children achieve at her age eg: (going to the toilet alone, being able to speak, being able to socially interact, being able to try new foods etc). However, my sister being the strong person she defied all odds. My sister is able to go to the toilet on her own, dress herself on her own, she has found ways to communicate with our family, although her social skills aren’t perfect she tries her best. My sister despite death, autism & discrimination has been able to go through everyday with a smile on her face. Genuinely being happy with her life because she’s able to do little things like sing, play outside & play on her tablet. My sister inspires me through everyday life, whenever I’m feeling down she hugs me. I always keep my sister in mind when I go though trials in life because if my 9 year old sister is able to pull through and live everyday as if her life was perfect then as her older sister I should be able to do the same. He attended Dawson Primary, Ferguson Intermediate, Tangaroa College.
My brother and parents migrated here to New Zealand when he was 3 years old, growing up my family weren't the richest. But my brother says his childhood was definitely full of good memories he will never forgot. My brother and cousin all grew up together and those were his friends. Together they made a funny and a memorable childhood. To this day they still tell funny stories from when they were young.

My grandma lived a normal life, the same way many people lived their lives her age. I do know that my grandma was the only girl, all her siblings were boys. So it was expected that she was her mothers shadow. She was her mothers right hand man. But it didn't mean that she wouldn't get the same hidings everyone else got. She would tell me stories of her getting a hiding and she would laugh about it, the story didn't even sound funny.  She enjoyed gardening and she was actually good at it. Her flowers just made sense. Like everything was in place the colours looked good together and I know, I will never understand gardening but I did know, that her garden was beautiful. When she got to the age where she couldn't do much, like gardening, weaving, cooking and cleaning. She started colouring, we would buy her thick coloring books with mandalas or a garden kind of picture. She loved it. She spent most of her time coloring these books, Sometimes when she finished colouring a picture she'll write a story on the side. A story either from her childhood, or she'll name the flower after one of her granddaughters.

Another challenge he had to overcome was losing his mother to cancer in the early 2000s and battling Jay-Z but he thought through his mothers loss and destroyed Jay-Z with the infamous and one of the greatest disses of all time "Ether" from his album stillmatic. 2020 Nasir won his first grammy for best rap album Kings disease. Nas also has the Greatest Rap album of all time Illmatic and the most critical acclaimed with Nas being the first Rapper to have 5 mics on the source in 1994. To me I believe Nasir is the Greatest EmCee you can just tell by his storytelling how lyrical he is on the beats he hits. Illmatic was an underground hit but his second album it was written got him international with his hit single with Ms Lauryn Hill "If I ruled the World".
