The thing that I enjoyed most about this class was my ability to try new things and experiment with things I think can be cool. It was really fun to be able to use different techniques and find ways to make my work look better.

A piece of advice that I would give to another student is not to be scared to try new things, because its easy to fix your mistakes and it could turn out as one of your favorite projects!

This project was my first fully finished project, and I learned to trust the process. At first, I didn't like the way it looked, but instead of giving up I kept working and I loved the finished result!

For this project, my vision changed throughout the process. Although I had ideas on my brainstorming sheet, while actually creating the monster I realized that I wanted something a little bit different, so I decided on huge eyes and a cute smile to make the monster seem more approachable instead of scary.

This raku firing helped me learn that not being perfect with everything can sometimes make a project look better. This project was not perfectly even, but in the end I preferred that

Although I didn't keep any of my pieces made on the wheel, I liked learning the basics of how to create different figures, and how the process works!

This was my last project, and I wanted to base it off of the raku with its imperfection in figure. I also kept the vertical line design. Overall, this project was a composition of lots of tips and tricks I learned along the way!

This was my very last project, and I started with a symmetrical pot, but due to the different clay textures it started to become asymmetrical, but I realized that I liked the imperfections more than it being perfectly straight.
