It gives a sense of hostility with all the 'reptiles'.<br><br>Lines 1414-1417: Describes the scene with a sense of&nbsp;death. For instance, the bloody waters shows imagery for the death that has come from Grendel and its mother. The tree slanted sideways and other natural scenes share a creepy and frightening tone to the location of Grendel's mother's lair.</div>]]></description>
