Module 1

In module 1 we got to share our lives and get to know others on a personal level. It was a fun way to get to know another person. I was able talk about myself and my life, which wasnt bad because it’s simpler to talk about myself through text. I also got to read about the lives the other people in this class have and it was just fascinating to see how different but also similar we are.

Module 2

In module 2, we received our first project. I was in a group of people that I didn’t know, I knew one person because she goes to my high school. But even though I didn’t know everyone, it was still very fun and interesting to not only work but also to get to know new people. I took biology in middle school which was 2 years ago so this project was a good refresher on the basic of biology.

In module 3 we learned about feedback loops. A feedback loop is a regulatory mechanism that enables a biological system to adjust its behavior in response to stimuli, maintaining stability in the face of internal or external changes. Feedback loops can be broadly categorized into two types: positive and negative.

Module 4

Module 4…. Well, this was the module where we finally presented our group project. The great thing about this presentation is that we had to present to other groups instead of the entire class. It felt easier and more relaxing. It was also interesting to watch other groups present specifically to us.

Module 5

In module 5, we were giving a link that lead us to an article on viruses. We had to split up the text within the group and answer questions. It was a little challenging to split up the long article, but we managed to accomplish it. Honestly during this activity, it made me realize how much my group has grown. Yes we are still shy but we have reallyyy good moment where we bond and it feels nice.
