I also don't really like how some EPs totally expose like, the tragic backstories of contestants. I know that the contestants are probably willingly sharing their stories but sometimes I wonder if it's legit. ALSO! I have fragile heart. Shows like Deal or No Deal that are super stressful and suspenseful just take my heart out and stomp on it. So while I enjoy the few EPs I watch, I don't really... watch a lot of them in the first place. They're entertaining though. Funny. Or something. 

Also I usually avoid watching EPs with loads of seasons and episodes. Give me something considerably shorter with more plot packed between less episodes. Don't give me 18 seasons of something because chances are I'll either drop it entirely or only watch certain episodes.

The EPs I generally watch are entertaining and are interesting to me. Especially reality and game shows. The best part about programmes like these are the fact that they are unscripted for the most part and the audience generally is not able to predict what will happen next which is what excites me. There are some entertainment programmes with a heavier or more serious tone but focusing on the more light hearted ones, they provide many benefits. Other than simply providing laughs, they sometimes greatly inform people and help people to learn. it could be said that entertainment programmes are what has allowed the world to progress as far as it had by providing an avenue for people to relax while also sometimes providing a window of opportunity for growth.
