A song my family dances to all the time is "Payaso del rodeo" by Caballo Dorado. I learnt that dance since I was pretty young. I like to dance it because it really fun and I like to move around. People say its hard because its too fast but I don't think its hard you just need to get the hang of it.

This song reminds me of my childhood at my grandmas house on my dads side because it would always play on the radio when I would be at her house. It specifically reminds me of my grandpa but I don't really know why. I enjoy listening to it because its a nice song that kinda makes me feel calm but also gives me energy in a way. Every time I listen to it I feel like I'm back at my grandmas house while my dads at work and this song is playing.

A food my grandma always makes is pozole. She makes red pozole with beef. She makes pozole for special occasions like Christmas birthdays or sometimes even thanksgiving. She also makes it whenever she feels like it even if its not a special occasion.

One of my favorite foods my grandma makes me is chicken or potato flautas. My favorites are the chicken ones but I also like the potato ones. I eat my flautas with sour cream and queso fresco. My grandma doesn't usually make them but when she does we enjoy eating them. My family sometimes puts sauces on them like salsa de jitomate or salsa Verde on them.

I am Mexican-American because my parents are Mexican but I was born in the US. My mom was born in Mexico but came to the US when she was almost 4. My dad is also Mexican American since he was born here but my grandparents are from Mexico.

My moms side of the family is from Autlan Jalisco. My mom was born in Jalisco but she moved to Los Angeles at a pretty young age. My grandma from my dads side is from Oaxaca Mexico and my grandpa is from puebla Mexico.
