more details and colors. I worked off of a previous background I had for another project, and added contrasting colors to each collaged piece. I also carved through the oil pastel and connected the background to it. I changed the reference by having rounded body parts like the hands and feet instead of sharp detailed ones. I noticed that I continued to use acrylic paint but I eventually ventured out and tried oil pastel and watercolor. The most significant way I have grown as an artist is trying out new things. I continue to stick with similar topics and medias but I'm gradually trying new ones. Some artist struggles I learned from was mostly trying out new medias and pushing myself to do things I've never done before. I would love to continue to try new medias and really push myself to try drawing things that I've avoided.
