Include the child with more activities in the classroom, adapt lessons to involve child in whole class lessons with the support of the TA.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Try to lessen the dependency and promote confidence in their own abilities by gradually phasing out the support from the TA.<br>E.g The TA may begin a piece of writing for the pupil and then lead them on to completing it themselves. This will show the child they are capable of creating high level work themselves but does not remove TA support completely. This could then be further developed by the TA taking a more supervisory role when completing written tasks, to ensure the child doesn't feel entirely unsupported and to offer reassurance and guidance.</div>]]></description>
