I love geogebra. I use it frequently and students are happy to work with it. At the same time it's fondamental in my teaching the manipulation of figure (so build paper figure and so on) and also the use of instrument as goniometer.

Usually we have used GeoGebra to explore graphs of functions. I have made some interactive worksheets for learning circle theorems https://www.geogebra.org/m/J2jKamkZ and connecting points in coordinate plane so that there should be some kind of picture if you do it right https://www.geogebra.org/m/dNc6wghZ. In Estonia we have every year competition Märka matemaatikat enda ümber! (Notice Maths Around You). Purpose of this is to to popularize Wiris and GeoGebra and link maths to everyday life. Geogebra is sheerly fabulous. Not only can one draw graphs and dynamic geometry items (even 3d), but one can as well match the different interfaces (worksheets, algebra, geometry etc.) to build schemes for general problems. Moreover there is a programmable interface which allows specials customisations. Thanks to all these tools, one can multiplicate and compare different approaches to the same problems, showing non-trivial similarities among mathematical concepts. I use it almost every day in all my classes.

I try to use Geogebra while I teach Maths in my class but it's not always possible to do so as we have lack of technology in my school. When I can use the computerlab I use Geogebra mostly and the results are very promising.

I usually use both GeoGebra and desmos, and very often classroom activities proposed in desmos, with students using their devices. They like it a lot and I find a very effective way to explore and introduce new concepts. In this way students can recall their knowledge on the subject and they feel more comfortable to explore the new ones. Djesmos classroom activities are very well done. I also like GeoGebra tube. I use it to share my video lessons made using GeoGebra and recording the screen of the computer with Apowersoft. On GeoGebra tube there are a lot of beautiful resources. I think that visualization of concept is very important. Moreover we also have to take into account that students have various learning styles, not only tha verbal or written one.

I first heard of Geogebra last year when there was a seminar for primary school teachers on how to use this innovative tool in class. I didn't have time at the time but this year it is one of the goals I have set for myself; learn how to use it and use it in the ICT lab with my students. Now I have heard about desmos, I intend to explore that. Too much knowledge to juggle but I feel intrigued and I like to vary my teaching methodology.

I have never used these or other tools for teaching purposes, but I used Wolfram Mathematica (https://www.wolfram.com/mathematica/) for learning in my bachelor degree and in my master degree, I learned how to program in a tool used by astronomers (IDL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IDL_(programming_language)) to graph and visualize scientific data.

GeoGebra is great. I use it very often when working with functions. A real advantage is that there is a smartphone app that can be used offline. So, we can work with the tool in math classes, students are allowed to use their phones and no further technical equipment in school is necessary.
But students are not allowed to use GeoGebra in exams. Hence, they need to learn to see it as a tool that helps in many situations but they also need to be able to do things without GeoGebra.

I sometimes use Geogebra and my students like it, but there's only one computer and a projector in the classroom so we can only use it as a presentation and visualisation method instead of research tool.

I often use Geogebra in class, to show geometrical constructions or function graphing. I use it also to prepare test on Cartesian Plane (I build the questions around the construction I invent thanks to Geogebra).
I use also Desmos (I have it on my smartphone) and also the WolframAlpha Site for Analysis and Calculus.
There is also Cinderella, which is similar to Geogebra, I'll study it next summer, because a colleague told me that is good for mechanical simulations in Physics.

I have been using GeoGebra for 9-10 years. I wrote my university thesis on the use of GeoGebra. I love using it as it helps demonstrate certain topics very clearly. It is easy to use and with every update it is getting better and better. I use it with functions and geometry.

The other program I use is “Graph” which is a simplified program that helps teaching functions.

I have some applications on my smartphone, for example “f(x)mathematics”, which is very similar to GeoGebra, but it has some more and easier functions. Students can also download this app and they can use it in class as it works offline. It can draw the function and do some operations with it.

I also use “PhotoMath” which is an equation-solving app. We can scan the equation and it gives the solution and the steps to get there. I let students use it only to check the answers.

Geogebra is a reliable and tested tool. I have been using it in my math class, especially in the 5^th and 6^th grade, since 2009 mostly when I am teaching geometry. Students love it and enjoy interacting with it since the language is no barrier to them (it is translated to Greek). Only recently I have started to experiment with Desmos which I find a very promising alternative.

I think Geogebra is a very useful application. Firstly it is intuitive and look like very modern. This makes the students like it. In addition, it can be used in various parts of mathematics and there are resource banks already made.

I’ve been using Geogebra for several years. As I teach 12 years old to 14 years old, at first I teach them to work with the tool.

It is an excelente tool to help in visualization and understanding of mathematicians concepts requiring multiple representations.

Yes, sometimes I used GeoGebra, not often however. I should improve its use, although it seems very intuitive to me. It can be used to show pupils the different properties of flat figures and also to make them more involved and conscious by making them draw geometric constructions. In addition, there are many interesting materials on the community. Let us say that the initial difficulty lies in organising an effective lesson that also includes the use of this tool.

I have just had an idea to tell worried parents on teacher – parent meetings to try to occupy their children with math apps while waiting somewhere or just need them to be silent. It might sound strange, but I keep seeing parents on coffie brakes with friends, their children mostly just staring at mobile phones. It started with cartoons and continued with games. So why not offer them math problems? I am also surprised with comments that everything is hard and too much for children, such as knowing time tables by heart...

I used Geogebra in different classrooms (with children or adults): it is easy to explore once learnt a few basics, and there is also an online version or smartphone app so you can use it with every device. To me, it was useful to prepare some lesson (with animation) and to students it is useful to verify some geometric rules.
