This article first explains the terminology. Then reasons as to why people would choose to do this. This article is against euthanasia. The intended audience is people who believe in euthanasia. The rhetorical appeal being used is logos because they use a lot of logical facts such as laws. It is helpful because it better explains the topic and gives strong reasons as to why euthanasia should not be used. It is not biased because it does show that it understands the reason as to why people would want this treatment. It will be useful to me because it covers topics that other articles do not, like if euthanasia is a right to be killed

This article compares euthanasia to suicide and talks about the different types to help better understand euthanasia. It also talks a lot about where euthanasia has been banned. it speaks about different religions and what they believe in euthanasia. The intended audience is people who believe in euthanasia. The rhetorical appeal being used in logos because it uses statistics and numbers to prove certain points. It is helpful because it has a lot of information about how euthanasia is assisted suicide. Although this is a strong article, it does show some weakness by not providing much information regarding the other side of the argument. This article will be very useful because it talks about certain topics that other articles have not brought up, such as beliefs about euthanasia in religions and how the Nazis used euthanasia

The article talks about the definition of the word euthanasia to explain what it means, it explains the types of euthanasia. The audience is people who want to educate themselves on the topic. It uses logos by explaining the facts and logic, such as a lot of definitions. It is helpful because it gives a lot of information on how it is not good. Considering this article is from the "Encyclopedia of Genocide and Crimes against Humanity" the terms genocide and crimes show that it is bias. This article will be useful because it gives a lot of facts that could be helpful in my argument.

This article first talks about the definition of Euthanasia, what it is used for, and when it can be used. Then it gets into the arguments of whether it is against or for euthanasia, which shows that it isn’t biased because it talks about both sides. The intended audience is people interested in this part of medicine. The rhetorical appeal being used is pathos because it has a whole paragraph dedicated just to morals and it also uses logos because it talks about logical things like how it can be abused. This article is especially useful because it has a lot of information coming from both sides and it can also help with my counterclaim.
