For "washing clothes, cooking", we usually called these "daily tasks" and "life skills" (生活技能); when we comment on how parents raise their children, we can use "parenting method" or "parenting style" (家庭教養模式)

Sentence example: The better news is that a good parenting style can positively influence children. ; Children shall acquire basic life skills at home and school to perform daily tasks.

Things to work on:
- only one benefit is mentioned in your speech. So, try to include one more benefit in your speech.
- Subject-verb agreement: e.g. they studies --> study
- Word choice: travel out of --> outside Hong Kong

- I advise you can --> I advise you "to understand"

Try to rewrite the sentences:
1. Rewrite the bracket with "whether", the sentence shall end with a full stop ( . ):
Today I'm going to talk about (do you think fields are useful for language learning? )

2. Using "It is important that you..."
It is important you must choose about the films, what language you study. 
e.g. It is important that you choose the films with the language you are studying.
