This is when the child is starting to believe in who he can trust which is a caregiver, grandparents if they are in the child's life, brother and or sister. The child will become more comfortable and build a better relationship with that person. If the needs of the child are met the child will build a trustworthy relationship with that person. If the needs of the child are not met the child may find it hard to trust people. When I was in this stage of development my parents were always there for me by feeding me and helping me development mentally and physically. This made me trust people more who are there to help me.

I believe this is one of the most important stages of development. This stage has a lot of self-esteem which is very important to kids. This is the stage where kids become more independent with themselves. Which means the child will play with toys by themselves, walk around the house without any assistance, dress themselves with little to no help. This stage has a lot to do with the caregiver as well. The caregiver is there to support and put belief in their child that they can do anything they try. But if the caregiver doesn't do this or support the child, the child might become less proud of what they accomplish. Talking to my dad he said I was a very independent toddler when I did something new, they encouraged me by clapping and giving me or doing something in reward for that accomplishment.

In this stage children start to development more friendships and start to put themselves out there. They will start to play with others more. This is also a stage were children become more wonderous about the world asking questions and wanting to become more knowledgeable. This is also where you can see a change in the child becoming more of a leader and trying to make plans and lead games or such more often. But it's important to the parent to encourage that behavior instead of ignoring it because it can lead to them thinking their being annoying. When I was in this stage of development in my childhood, I formed friendships with people who are still in my life to this day. Also, my parents supported me asking questions about things I didn't know.

This is the stage where I believe the children makes the biggest jump in their lives in every aspect. The children have teachers who invest in their knowledge and education. They also make new friends, and they will start to play organized sports as well. When I was in this stage, I was involved in almost everything you can imagine in elementary school. One because my parents wanted me to try new things and expand my knowledge. The other reason was my friends and the friends I made in those grades/organizations is something I will never forget. So, I choose to feel industrious when I was in this stage.

In this stage this is where the young adult has many questions about themselves. Who am I, who are my true friends, and what is my worth. But these questions are very hard to answer. In this stage it's very important to the child that the parents help the most they can answering these questions. In my personal experience my parents, helped me find my true self. Even though it's a self-journey they helped answer questions I asked them about when they were my age. They believed in me and supported me no matter what. Instead of being confused I found my identity and found confidence in myself.

This is the stage were the young adults turn into real life working adults that find someone who they grow old with. This is where the young adults who didn't know themselves a couple years ago now, they have someone who knows all their little ticks and sequences. I have not yet experienced this but if I had I would want to find the person who helps me with my personal self along with everyone else. If I have someone, I will want it to be full of love and trust. I would want to choose intimacy over isolation.

In this stage we see that it grows off the previous stage. Where we see the two people who vow to love each other to the very end. Then the two people who are in the relationship decide and agree to bring a child into the world. Which this child will have more love from both the caregivers than they realize. When I develop in this stage of life, I hope I have the right partner in this stage of my life where that my future child has the endless love and support that I had when I was a child. I will choose generativity in the future so I can help the next generation grow and prospere.
