LUNCH ACTIVITY: Hope Squad asks students to write down 1 kind act they will do this week. The slips of paper link together to make a "Kindness Chain" which will be displayed in the cafeteria.

ADVISORY ACTIVITIES:

3. Hope Squad issued a challenge: Commit to at least one kind act per day!

   Hand out the skinny slips of paper and ask students to write down more kind acts they plan to do this week. (If you do not have enough papers, the kids can write several on one paper)

4. Collect the slips and send them to Miss Walker (front office.)

3. Hand out "Gratitude Lists" and help students come up with things they are grateful for (the few larger papers are for those who need more room to write)

LUNCH ACTIVITY: Students write the answers to "Who or What gives you hope for the future” on sticky notes to display in the cafeteria.

ADVISORY ACTIVITIES:

2. Feel free to discuss why saying "thank you" is important

3. Hand out 1 large thank you note and/or 2 small thank you notes for students to fill out.

   1. Remind students to choose adults who work at Shack so that the Hope Squad can deliver the notes later.

   2. Remind students to put the adult's name on the note!

   3. Students do NOT have to sign their names.

4. TAKE UP THE THANK YOU NOTES! (You can put them in the Hope Week folder and turn the folder in to Walker on Friday)
