He was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and from 1951 to 1955 during the Second  World  War. He is celebrated for his talents of speaker. He is also a writer.He got the Nobel Prize winner of literature. Churchill was a member the conservative party. Under the Popular Front, he was Secretary of the War. When the Second World War started, he was Préfet of Eure et Loire. In June 1940, he  led  “his first fight”: he refused to sign a statement imposed by a German officer, threatened, he tried to slash himself the throat.

He was arrested by the Gestapo in suburbs of Lyon on June 21st, 1943. Tortured to death, probably by Klaus Barbi, he died on July 9th 1943.He never gave up under the torture and he never denounced the other Resistance fighters.
