Uses a lot of repition to bring importance to certain lines.

Wonder: I wonder why Mr. Blake thought "He is meek & he is mild, 
He became a little child" would be a literary masterpiece. I'm gonna say it: it sounds like something a kid in year 2 would write.

The poem is about lambs and their innocence. It also highlights what lambs do for human (give clothing, are food, ect). The picture is of a young naked boy with the lambs. Both the boy and the lambs are innocent looking.

Wonder:
What does “dost” mean.

Infer:
The child in the painting is naked to represent his innocence and that as we get older we slowly take things from the lamb (which is another symbol of innocence) to use for ourselves. It could be trying to show how innocence is slowly taken though life? Also the was Blake talks about the innocence of childhood, makes him sound like he envies it and wishes he still had it.
