Ada and her brother Jamie ran away from home, where their mom said she was going to leave Ada there and take Jamie to a school where they could escape the war. Their mom don't like Ada because she is crippled. Ada and Jamie went to the school and got on the train. When they arrived at the destination, all the other kids and themselves, got off to go use the bathroom, where Ada first learned to use a public bathroom.

That surprised me because in would never kill something that big, the biggest thing I would kill is a bear.

Nailer got trapped in a oil storage area in a destroyed ship. He was able to make contact with crew who where striping the ship of its lightweight materials but the person he was able to talk to sloth betrayed him and left him to die so she could harvest the oil and sell it. But luckly he was able to open a hatch which let the oil out and destroy a side of the ship so he could espcape. sloth the person who betrayed him got thrown out of the crew and out into the desert.

In the book I'm reading , the main character(Starr) goes to this party with her friends. At this party she sees one of her childhood friends names Khalil.They started to talk for a while to catch up on what's been going on in their life. Then all of a sudden they hear gunshots. They ran to Khalil's car . He had offered Starr a ride home. On their way to her house they getpulled over. The cop pulls them over for nothing and tell Khalil to get out of the car. Khalil gets out. While the cop goes in to his car Khalil opens the door to ask if Starr was okay. Then she heard gunshots and her childhood bestfriend  was dead.

My reaction of this book was that it was amazing and really sad that they just started back talking to each other that day also that it got really good in the first couple pages.
