2. More than 50,000 people in Argentina are living in slums. The people are called "villeros" or slum dwellers. The people of Villa 21, a huge slum in Buenos Aires, are protesting gang violence and small amounts of police presence in the large shantytown. They are also protesting police brutality, as two teenagers in the slum were victims of.
