I learnt how to tune a ukulele using ukulele tuner, it is not easy as I didn’t know how to make the notes higher or lower and I learnt the different methods of strumming like the thumb method, the heart method and the claw method

I recall tuning GCEA and strumming. I also learnt that there is app that helps me tune and I don’t need a classic tuner. I learnt of the different ways of strumming as I did not learnt before. I also practiced strumming with my fingers as most of the time in primary school I used a pick. I feel that using my fingers is better as when I use the pick, it has a very annoying loud strum sound.

I learnt how to strum the ukulele properly today and also tune the strings. Tuning the strings of the ukulele is not easy as you have to make sure that the tone of the string is accurate.

I actually played the ukulele last time when I was young but I only knew how to strum. However, I may have forgotten how to strum already as I found myself moving my elbow when I was strumming. I learnt how to tune it as well and I found that the most enjoyable.

I recalled how to play certain notes and also learn how to tune a ukulele. I also realised that tuning the ukulele is not as hard as I thought it to be, in fact I would say tuning may be one of the easier part of playing a ukulele.

Although I have little ukulele experience in primary school, I learnt how to tune the ukulele and strum it properly using three different methods-the thumb, the heart shape and the claw method, the app is also very helpful as other than tuning there is also a function of learning chords which I hope to do so the next lesson

I recalled how to tune my ukulele since I forgot how to as I never touch a ukulele for a very long time. Even though a Friend gave me a ukulele I did not play or practise it as I only knew the basics and I did not really bother. I recalled the notes of each string which is G-C-E-A. Secondly , I recalled using an tuning app to tune the ukulele according to the notes, that when the tuning app shows flat, you must tune it to a higher pitch and when the app shows that your notes are more to the sharp, we have to lower the pitch of the notes. I also recalled different strumming methods to strum the ukulele .

I learnt how to tune a ukelele today, I learnt how to strum the ukelele as well, it was fun but it was difficult to do the tuning because I had to strum it many times and still couldn’t get it right. I also found the strumming a little bit difficult because the iPad was in my lap and the headphones cords were tangling in my fingers so it was a difficult to place the ukelele in the correct position so that I can strum it and not get obstructed or accidentally drop the ipad.

I learnt the chords G C E A and I learnt their position on the ukulele. I also learnt how to tune the ukulele and how to see if we needed to tune it up or down. I also learnt 3 ways of strumming. The first way is using your thumb to strum and the second way using your index finger and your thumb when strumming down,it uses the index finger and strumming up uses the thumb. The last method is using four fingers to strum up and down.
