A long time ago, the Jewish people walked through the hot and dry desert. After 50 days, they got to Mount Sinai, which was a beautiful mountain with flowers. Suddenly, the sky filled with thunder and lightning, and the mountain shook. Moshe started climbing to the top of the mountain to speak with Hashem. Hashem gave him two stone tablets, with the Ten Commandments written on them. When Moshe came down, everyone was excited. Every year, we celebrate Shavuot to remember this amazing day. We read the Torah, eat delicious dairy food, and decorate with flowers. It’s a time to be thankful for this precious gift!

At the foot of Mount Sinai, the Israelites waited, hearts pounding. The air crackled with anticipation as thunder roared and lightning flashed. Moses ascended the mountain, leaving his people below, trembling with awe. For days, they stood in silence, gazing upward, while the heavens seemed to open. On the sixth day of the third month, Moses returned, holding the tablets, inscribed with the laws of life. The people wept, overwhelmed by the gift of the Torah, a covenant binding them to God. Shavuot marked not just a harvest, but the birth of a people, transformed by the words of the Almighty.

This is the most important part of the holiday for many. On Shavuot, we remember the special day when God gave the Jewish people the Torah – His holy laws and teachings – on Mount Sinai. Moshe went up the mountain, and there God spoke to him and gave him the Ten Commandments, and all the other laws that guide Jewish life.

So, Shavuot celebrates the moment Jewish people received their spiritual guidance and became a nation connected to God through His laws. It's a day to remember God's promise and the special relationship He has with His people.

Bnei Israel arrived in the Sinai Desert on the first day of the month of Sivan. They camped near the mountain and got ready for the giving of the Torah. Hashem told them that if they listened to His voice, they would be a special people. The people answered together: “Na'ase Venishma” – we will do and we will listen. On the third day, the mountain was full of smoke, lightning, and loud shofar sounds. Hashem gave them the Ten Commandments. The people were afraid and asked Moshe to help. Moshe went up the mountain to get the Torah and the Luhot Habrit.

Before years, the Jewish people were slaves in Egypt. God took them out of Egypt. They walked in the desert.

After 49 days, they came to a big mountain. The mountain was called Mount Sinai. God told the people to listen.

There was fire, smoke, and a loud sound. The people were confused.

God gave them the Ten Commandments. These are ten important rules.

The people said, “We will do and we will listen.”

This is why we celebrate Shavuot. It is the day we got the Torah.

One of my friends played music on their phone. We could also hear birds singing and boats far away. We swam for a long time, then sat on a big blanket. We drank cold lemonade and ate snacks. The sun was warm and I felt very peaceful.

In the summer me and my friend went to the beach, we ate fresh fruits- and we took a lot of pictures. After that we went to a restaurant together and we drank milkshake- and pasta. We did a lot of shopping and we all bought friendship bracelets. In the evening we were at my friend’s house- she has a swimming pool in her yard. It was a long day with a lot of experiences.

What is so amazing about this pool is that it was in an old abandoned church, and the pool was filled with rainwater. During the summer my friends and I went to the zoo. We saw a lot of my favourite animals, such as elephants and lions. We even got to ride camels. Then, we had picnic at the beach. It was the best day of summer vacation.

During the vacation, I went to Eilat with some of my friends. We stayed for two days and wanted to do a lot. Early in the morning, we took a bus from Jerusalem to Eilat. The ride was about five hours. When we arrived, we took another bus to the apartment. Then we went to the BIG mall and did a lot of shopping. After that, we walked to the boardwalk, bought food, and sat by the sea. The next day, we woke up early, ate breakfast, and did parasailing. It was very exciting. We had so much fun and enjoyed everything.

Last summer, my family and I went to Eilat. We went with our friends from the neighborhood. It was hot, but very fun. On the first day, we took a jeep tour in the desert. On the second day, we went diving and saw colorful fish. Then, we swam in the sea and played on the beach. In the evening, we ate at a meat restaurant. On the third day, we went ice skating. It was funny and a little hard. Everyone laughed and had fun. It was a special trip. I want to go again!

I learned from this lesson that not all AI platforms are great, and some do not work properly. We tried using a platform called Huggingface which was not working at all for me, so what I did is use ChatGPT ,which I know works for me most of the time, and when you are very specific with your search it will be as accurate as possible to what you asked for. That is why in this lesson it was also very important to write what you want to achieve in a detailed manner. Other than that, I loved creating comics and I think it is a great way to encourage students to write and be creative. It is very entertaining.l

In this we have learned about a new AI tool which called Grok. It was very fun for me to create comics - especially the comics with the summer experience that I had to write like i am a 5th student. It helps me to improve my creativity and I think that it is very important to get into the students head and to try to make something from their view. I also like that the lessons are a clear connection to the holidays. I think that it helps the students to feel a bigger connection to the lesson, because even students who aren't the best in English- can understand the main idea of the lesson- to my view it is super important to keep the whole class up and interested in the lesson’s subject.

This week's lesson was clear and at the right pace for me to follow and be calm while trying out these different kinds of AI tools. All the tools we learned pretty much worked for me and gave me the results I asked for, except the smiley pace one. But each time we are asked to create pictures in different styles, I always find myself liking the Chat GPT result the most.

Today, we focus on creating comics. In a class, I think I will divide them into groups, and each group will choose one comic page I created from a few in different styles but on the same topic, and each group will need to write a caption for each picture and create a short story.

In addition, I like the idea to ask AI made a comic from a different illustration style.  

It was an opportunity to be with many family members that we hardly meet on our way back we stopped at the Kinert sea and enjoyed the cool water We also v=went shopping in a big mall and bought some interesting stuff just for the fun. We came back full of great experiences

All of the mountains in the land of Israel got into a quarrel they all wanted honor of the Torah given on them each one presented itself as best suitable for this ceremony the only one who felt humble and did not show off eventually, he was the one who won. from this story we can see how a person who feels humble and does not show off will receive pride and respect from others but who tries to show how wonderful and proud he is won't receive any respect and honor

These AI tools are very interesting to learn. Although I don't read comics and was never really interested in making them either, it's good to learn new tools that I will be able to use with my future students. The tool that you showed us didn't really work for me. I did use chatgpt and that worked really well.

It is very important to be specific in the prompt. You want to make sure that it does what you want, one wrong word and it can change the results completely. I can't wait to learn more tools.
