         <description><![CDATA[<div>General Sir William Howe and general Charles Cornwallis launched an attack on George Washington at Brandywine Creek. Cornwallis and Sir William basically flanked George Washingtons troops. Which in turn pushed his troops back and forced George Washington to retreat after losing 1,100 men. This battle was won by the British.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
