         <title>Dolly the Sheep-MC</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Dolly the sheep was the first mammal to be cloned in 1996. The process scientists went through to clone Dolly from an adult cell was complicated. First thing they had to figure out how to preserve udder cells as well as stopping them from growing. This was done by putting them in a "soup", or growth medium, to keep them alive. Next they took out the nucleus of an unfertilized egg cell and replaced it with the preserved udder cell. Electrical pulses were used to combine the cells. The combination of the nucleus of an adult white  sheep and the egg cell of a black-faced sheep had been a success. After they made sure it would actually develop into an embryo, it was placed inside of the surrogate mother.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The main reason people are against cloning is because they claim it devalues human life. They believe that if society finds destroying embryos (which is required in order to extract its stem cells) acceptable then soon people may believe to end any kind of human life. Whether it's an embryo, an adult, or a child; and that scares many people. That way of thinking could lead to legalizing a later time period for parents to abort a fetus, or even denying treatment for a severely disabled child. A less popular reason people are against it is because it can make the woman that are donating their embryos could be revealed to the public. By doing so, it's possible for others to view that women as nothing more than materials to be used.</div>]]></description>
