First, it is grammar word, such as a/an/the, it seems to be easy, but after the test I did, I still make error.

secondly ,for diagnostic writing, it is online grammar test, I got 50/65,this test let me know I need to improve some thing, for example, the passive word and modals.

Thirdly, it is sentence structure,  I saw a video, and took some notes about how to define a sentence. And I know academic sentence have some features like very long and contain more than one clause.

They show different sentence structure, like simple sentences ,compound sentences, complex sentences, and compound -complex sentence. I understand about the various features of them.

And also have independent study, what I thought about how to independent study, first of all, assess the learning need, secondly, plan the study, thirdly carry out the learning activity, then get feedback about the study, finally, repeat this process. And we should mix the learning style, like individual study and group study. And we can use various resources you are interested in to make the study more fun.

I decided to borrow a book from library, called "the crime story collection".

I also learned something about  the presentation. I know presentation is an essential part in our course. Some approaches can help us to do a better presentation. Such as, more familiar about your material, will build your confidence. And also can practice some phrases, like later I will or in a other words, we can sort some phrases into different usages, like start, conclusion and examples, will strong the fluency of our presentation.
 
There is also a test about integrity. And I finally got the full score. The referencing is also important, there are two components about referencing, one is citation, the other is a final reference list

In our academic writing, we should avoid doing something , we called misconduct, including five parts;
1 plagiarism 2. collusion 3. fabrication 
4. incorporation 5. commissioning 

And, finally I got a IPC integrity certificate.

About the next week plan, first I should do the classroom work, and in my spare time, I will read some books about my degree course, search for some new words I dont understand, and the listening formative task makes me realize that listening a lecture is also a good way to improve your reading skills.

Part 2, about the tutor's perspective contains three main part, what good performance is ,engage task and improve, last is help student to self correct and reflect on their work.
