In the book Countdown Franny Chapman's life is very different than mine in many ways. In the book Countdown it is the year of 1962. In 1962 America thinks that it is going to get bombed by the Soviet Union. Franny has to do drills and practices in case of a surprise attack. Also, their television is different because there is no color. Another reason why are lives are different is because children are not allowed to visit hospitals.

When there was no electronics, cars, elevators, escalators, OR great doctor care. Which today, we have all of those things and more...
The lives of the people in my book are also similar in many ways. For example: They had grocery stores and restaurants just like we do. They also had houses and neighbor hoods and neighbors just like we do.
Over all, there are so many ways i can relate, and can't relate to this book. But either way, I love it

-Keller Crosby :)
