We have been friends ever since and recently reunited this summer (August 2025) in Newfoundland, Canada for Sarah's wedding.

We are already planning our next trip together and next year, myself and Sarah will be visiting Blanca in Mexico!!

Girl Guiding taught me that friendship isn't about where you come from, it's about how you show up for each other.

We shared tents, meals, dreams, and laughter. And in that space, I felt seen, respected, and free to just be me.

That's the kind of friendship I celebrate this Thinking Day

Guiding is not only a school of life, it is a home where hearts connect and friendships grow strong. Through every camp, challenge, and season, we kept growing side by side.

Today, many of the girls I met in Guiding have become my sisters. We didn't just share activities - we shared our fears, our dreams and our hopes for the future. No matter where life take s us, we know one thing: we will always find each other again.

They are a part of my past, my present, and my future. Guiding is the reason our story exists.

I have joined guiding recently in 2025, and I have had an amazing experience with all of my sisters. Particular one sister who has taught me the true meaning of being present, giving honestly of my best and always being kind and inspiring to others. You know who you are. Life ling friendship.

We'd have sleepovers, share secrets, and support each other through everything. Like, when each of us is going through a tough time, we showed up for each other and goes out for ice cream and snack at the beach to cool off. When we have joyous occasions worth sharing, we're there to support.

Now, we're each other's go-to for advice, laughs, and adventures We still meet up whenever we can, even with life getting crazy

We thank God that we, the Mpanazava, were among those who celebrated this special moment last weekend, united in spirit with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world.
