         <description><![CDATA[<div>Newton's first law states that things at rest stay at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. Some examples of baseball versus the first law are the following:<br>- The ball sits in the pitcher's glove<br>- When the pitcher pitches the ball, he/she is setting the ball in motion<br>- When the batter sings the bat, he/she is putting the bat in motion<br>- A fielder would be an unbalanced force. So, if the batter hits the ball and a fielder catches it or picks it up, puts the ball at rest until it is thrown again</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Newton's third law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Examples of this law versus baseball are:<br>- Since there has to be an equal reaction, if the all is hot up, then it eventually has to come down<br>- The pitcher pitches the ball and it hits the bat, so the ball bounces the bat<br>- The pitcher pitches the ball. The ball spins making the ball stay in the direction of that spin. The cause of this is because the air that is going around the ball travels in the opposite direction of the spin, making the ball go with the spin.</div>]]></description>
