I grew up in the humble town of Arpili, Balamban, Cebu, located in the province of Cebu. My childhood home was a simple one, shared with my parents, three younger brothers, and my grandfather. Growing up in a big family of seven, we lived life with its challenges, living paycheck to paycheck. Despite facing financial struggles, I took on responsibilities beyond my years as the eldest, looking after my brothers while my parents worked tirelessly. This early exposure to life's hardships made me mature quickly, becoming a source of strength for my family. The determination to secure a brighter future for my siblings fueled my perseverance. Although my journey wasn't easy, I overcame obstacles through hard works and determination. Today, while we may not be wealthy, the hard work of my parents has improved our living conditions. My family remains my ultimate inspiration, propelling me to strive harder and be grateful for the progress we've achieved! I recognized that our situation was not a limitation but a powerful motivation to change our circumstances. At the age of four, I began attending daycare, and at the age of five, I began kindergarten in Arpili, Balamban, Cebu. After that, I completed my elementary schooling at the same institution, graduating with honors in each of the first six grades and earning a service award at graduation. I attended Buanoy National High School for my high school education because most of my cousins did, and I had heard wonderful things about it. beginning.During my junior high school years, I was enrolled in the STE curriculum, which was one of the three pilot programs offered by BNHS. I was fortunate to pass the admission test. The time I spent in junior high school was enjoyable and filled with memories. I was still getting used to things, so it wasn't exciting or simple at first, but I made wonderful friends and companions. I've faced many challenges in junior high school and have gained a great deal of knowledge from them. Even though I wasn't the brainiest at the time, I was able to develop into a steady honor student from grade 7 to grade 10. I have a lot of memories, both good and baf, which shape who I am now. I will always be appreciative of my teachers and fellow students who supported me from the beginning. Senior high school rolled around. I signed up for STEM. Once more, it was an honor to be a part of. It was the middle of the pandemic by now. The biggest adjustment was going from face-to-face classes in junior high to a sharp switch to modular learning. Even with the pandemic's challenges, I was able to get through it all because I am motivated to graduate from senior high school. I've made new friends and become close to them. I was excited about the transfer to blended learning in grade 12 since it allowed me to attend classes, see my friends again, and engage in a variety of activities. When the time for graduation arrived, I was shocked to learn that I had received the highest honors in the entire class. Even with the blended learning, I was happy and proud of myself as I went up to the stage to pick up my diploma and medal. All of my hard work and dedication had paid off. I knew exactly what program and course I wanted to pursue in college after I graduated. I applied for a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture as soon as CTU-TC opened admissions, and after waiting and second-guessing myself for a month, I was accepted. I was overjoyed to hear this news. When the classes start, I was so thrilled because it meant I could finally start pursuing my aspirations. I'm happy that I was able to overcome my 1st year journey. I'm hoping that throughout my remaining college years, I'll be able to maintain courage, mental clarity, and physical well-being. 🌱💚

My desire to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is motivated by my passion and interest for animals, pets, and the environment. I have always enjoyed caring for animals and developing a close bond with them since I was a child. I can always feel this deep connection with animals and the environment. As a human, I strongly support animal and environmental protection because I think that humans and animals live symbiotic relationships with the planet. This interest and connection led me to chose agriculture as my academic path because it allows me to know more on how to cherish and take care of them through ecological practices. Through my studies, I aspire to contribute to practices that promote the well-being of both animals and the planet. In addition to my love for animals and the environment, I find joy in singing and dancing. I believe that participating in activities like singing and dancing helps boost my confidence. It's not just about caring for animals and the environment; I also enjoy expressing myself through music and movement. I've accomplished a great accomplishments over the majority of my life, and I'm proud of all of it. There are a number of my accomplishments that really stick out among the rest. First, I won Miss Teen Maigang in 2019. This was my first pageant ever, and I had no idea I would win because I lacked experience and the necessary training. Fun fact: I just participated because I had to, but I ended up winning the title. 👑 I still recall my family's pride and joy for me. Second, I was really proud of the award I received when I graduated from high school with the highest honors. I had received awards in the past, but this was the first time I had received the highest honors. I'll never forget how proud and honored I felt as I approached the stage to accept that award. Thirdly, I was able to support my needs and desires with my own money after I started working as a freelancer. I consider it an accomplishment that I was able to provide financial support for myself and help my parents while attending college. I felt very proud to be able to support my parents with my studies. The last one is when I started studying agriculture. Some people told me that this program is a waste of time and that I won't be able to have a better future because all I would be doing is tilling the land and feeding the animals, but I didn't care because I'm proud of who I've become. This program has taught me a lot, and I can personally attest that if I concentrate on my goals, I will accomplish more. These are a few of my current accomplishments, and if I continue to put in the necessary effort, I'm sure there will be more in the future. 🤍🌼

Beneath this happy photo is a girl who has faced many obstacles in her life. My family was poor throughout my childhood, and we never enjoyed the luxury of a stable life. My parents put in a lot of labor, but providing for our huge family was a never-ending battle. We occasionally felt like we could never make ends meet and had to make do with just two meals a day. We made an effort to keep our happiness and unity in spite of these difficulties. We took comfort in the closeness of our family time and realized how important it was to stick together. Even though we didn't have an easy life, our will to be a happy family served as the foundation for being positive in life. But it didn't end there. As a teenager, I dealt with a lot of difficulties, such as depression and bullying. My time in high school wasn't always enjoyable; there were moments when I felt unworthy of love and that I wasn't good enough. It was, of course, the result of ongoing harassment I had endured from some of my relatives and classmates. They had no idea how their acts had made me feel bad about myself and start harming myself. I was able to hide my depression from my family for a number of years, even though it followed me about. I used to feel that life wasn't worth living, but being the oldest child helps me remember that I still have a lot of obligations and that I must carry on. It wasn't until I reached my senior year in high school that I began to feel better. I attribute my ability to live and always look forward to the next day to the people who have shown me love and value. It inspired me to improve and push myself further to become a much better person. These difficulties have served as my inspiration to persevere since a happy life is one that is worth living. 🌼🌱🤍

Growing up, I had to overcome these challenges, which helped to shape who I am now. I learned perseverance and the worth of hard work from the trials I've been through. I learned to appreciate the small things in life and be resourceful from my experience with financial incapabilities and limited opportunities. There are other, less well-known sides to my personality in addition to these well-known ones. Despite my love of animals and the outdoors, my passion for beauty and fashion may come as a surprise to some. Getting lost in the worlds of beauty and fashion is fun and allows me to express my creativity. It's a fun diversion from my other interests and a window into the many facets of my personality. When it comes to food 🍔🍛, I prefer savory foods over sweet ones. Dressing up is not just for occasions; I do it for myself, finding empowerment and joy in expressing my style. And, of course, I can't go anywhere without sunscreen, prioritizing skin protection in everyday lives specially that I've chosen the Agriculture program wherein we're mostly outside doing field activities.
