Is a prodigy the product of nature or nurture?

It is a combination of both nature and nurture that produce a child prodigy. A prodigy has to have some kin of genetic makeup or nature, that makes them special, Something is in their DNA that sets them apart from everyone else and it isn't always something learned from previous behaviors either. Now however the environment or nurture comes into effect when the child isn't stimulated enough to be able to expand their capabilities. When a child is allowed to explore all the possibilities they can achieve they can go beyond their expectations and everyone else in which makes them a complete prodigy.
