-People were working at Kershaw’s farm as slaves of the Civil Defense Team just for accommodation, food and water.

 

1.When mrs troy asks Richard the big bottle of waters and he refuses to give it to them 

2.CDT had a selfish attitude.They took the shelter ( Kershaws farm) but didn't protected people. They were sharing that how much radiation can we inhale,in act 1 scene 1 Renton was telling that we can not inhale more than 200r and 300r can kill you.They were sharing this information between themselves and let the people be unaware.They had already planned that they will not come out of the shelter


3.CDT had a selfish attitude instead of selfless attitude .This is evident in the play script when CDT poisoned the well and forced people to come to their medical wing so that they can get rid of the injuried people.CDT was self concerned as they were living in the Kershaws farm where they were resourceful and were not concerned about ordinary people who were suffering as they were meant to help people but they were doing opposite of it.Their acrimonious behavior was shown when they were serving poisoned food to the Terminals and Spacers.CDT people were heartless as they did not allow MRS Norton to go to hospital as her condition was critica








4.there was a selfless attitude of CDT. The were just too evil.1.they were not treating injured people. they only used to deal with badly injured people who were being killed badly by adding poison poison in there food. 2.they were making people do work. The CDT members were making the civilians do the work they were making the people of Skipley do farming. The CDT members were paying them very little of food for this work. they were being so rude and mean and were not doing the work properly that were assigned to CDT
