Chase College Checking
- $0 monthly service fee for up to 5 years when attending a college

- Offers blocking out any overdraft by having the card declined when there are not enough funds in the account.

While not paying a monthly service fee is a benefit, I chose Chase bank because they are where my mother banks, so I linked the two accounts together so my mother and I could exchange money easily.

REFLECTION
Based off of a Salary of $68,640 (Average for Psychologist) I would be bringing home $5720 a month and only be paying $891 of it toward my morgage which is less then 30% of my salary. This home could be covered by only me and if I were to get married, and my husband were to loose his job, I would still be able to pay for the house. I had an extra 51% of the 30% goal for just the house to make sure the house stays afloat during times of struggle.

Why/Reflection
I decided to get this Credit Card because it is through the bank that I went with so it would be easy for me to pay off my credit card. I also liked that it is a Visa card, which is accepted almost everywhere. Lastly I liked that I got 1.5% cash back on every purchase so if I was buying a new TV (and had the money to do so in my checking) I would buy it with my Credit Card and then pay off my credit card right afterwards so that I could benefit from the 1.5% cash back while not having to deal with the large interest rates.
