Argument- A reason or set of reasons given with the aim of persuading others that an action or idea is right or wrong
Ex: President presents an argument for why Congress should approve military action, laying out reasons and evidence to support such a move

Bias- Prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair
Ex: Saying that all boys are better at sports than girls

Classification- The action or process of classifying something according to shared qualities or characteristics
Ex: Literature is English and English is American

Contradict- assert the opposite of a statement made by someone
Ex: A sign that says " DO NOT ENTER" and also says "ENTER OLNY"

Evaluate- The making of a judgment about the amount, number, or value of something; assessment.
Ex: On our report cards we get evaluated on our behavior

Fact- A piece of information used as evidence or as part of a report or news article.
Ex: The Earth is round not flat

Intent- Intention or purpose
Ex- On New Years Eve you can make a resolution and intend on keeping it

Opinion- A view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
Ex: I think I'm better than Zev (I am)

Persuasive- To Cause someone to do something through reasoning or argument
Ex: Avery's trying to persuade my mom to get another dog

Magazine- A periodical publication containing articles and illustrations, typically covering a particular subject or area of interest
Ex: Cosmopolitan or Cosmo Magazine

Manual- A book of instructions, especially for operating a machine or learning a subject; a handbook.
Ex: Apple Support Manuals

Note- a brief record of facts, topics, or thoughts, written down as an aid to memory.
