Explanation: Rose is very religious and is a helper at the church and believes in god. She talks about how she wants Jesus to be a fence and that is why her dream is to build a fence around her house. She wants to help other people and also wants to be protected. I do not think most moms would take care of the moms child that her husband cheated on with. This makes her have warm heart and a loving person.
Strengths:
  • She stands up for herself even when her husband is mean to her.
  • She is a strong women
  • Very responsible 
  • Great caring parent
Weaknesses: 
  • She still managed to stay with Troy after he cheated on her.
  • Is too nice when she is treated bad sometimes.

Situation: Troy is mad because he does not understand why on white people can drive the trash trunk and colored have to pick up and throw trash into the truck.

Explanation: Troy is mad because he doesn't understand why colored people cant drive the truck instead of grabbing the cans in the back and dumping them in the truck. They where not able to drive the trunk and that made him very frustrated.

Both plays have the same theme which is Racism. In "Fences" Troy wasn't able to drive the trash truck because he was colored and he was only able to be in the back of truck and pick the trash up and throw it in the truck. In "A Raisin In the Sun", when Mama had bought a house in a new neighborhood, they were given an offer that they will get money if they do not move to the new house. They were the only colored to move in the neighborhood and the white people would not like if they moved which is very racist.
