A long walk to water is a really interesting book and we've only read 2 chapters. We haven't learned a lot about Nya, so her story isn't exactly the most interesting, but I can't wait to see her story and how it connects to Salva''s story. Salva's story reminds me of a couple things already. I've read books by my favourite author Eric Walters, and they seem super similar. Eric Walters books are ones about adventure and trying to survive which has the same kinda themes as Salva's story. The other thing it reminds me of is holocaust books. Hear me out, I've read a lot of them and Nazi soldiers would round up everyone and split them into groups and send them places similar to the ones in Salva's story. I personally like both of the things I've connected this story to, so I am very excited to read this book and I'll probably read more Linda Sue Park.
