Denotation- The literal implication or meaning of anything in a media text. This can be seen within the actions implied by the actors used in the music video.

Establishing shot- A shot used in as a form of capturing an environment (where the story is initially held). Giving the audience more of an insight to where the story is held.

Interpretive- is when it encourages the audiences to view and understanding the deeper meaning of the music video. 

Surrealist- is an art movement which aims to break the boundaries between fantasy, dreams and imagination.
