Cascade Asset Management – the company which recycles old devices with Li-ion batteries inside. There were many fires and explosions of those devices. Once, there was a 4-alarm fire in Shoreway Environmental Center, which, they suspect, has been caused by a lithium-ion battery that went undetected to other junk in its sorting systems. If a lithium-ion battery pack fails, it will burst into flames and can cause widespread damage. That calls for immediate measures and guidelines for battery safety. We could also make machines that recycle Li-ion batteries and some safety systems and rules. We could make those batteries a little thinner to save the thinness. Or we could still use Li-ion batteries but make them small, and improve the capability of energy somehow. We could also add a tiny fire extinguisher into the phone or a cooler so it extinguishes the fire if it happens. Once, when  we solve this problem, the recycling problem will work better.
