News 1:
Join European Torus (JET), in Oxford managed to generate 59 megajoules of energy through nuclear fusion. This achievement gives a new horizon about clean energy. It’s necessary to clarify the difference between nuclear fission and nuclear fusion (the method used by JET). The advantages of the nuclear fusion over nuclear fission are that the fusion reaction generates about 4 times more energy than fission and the nuclear fusion reaction does not pollute as much as fission, eliminating the danger of radioactive waste. Supporters of nuclear fusion consider it to be the energy of tomorrow. It produces no greenhouse effect gases. However, many environmental groups have long been opposed to nuclear. They say it costs too much and is more efficiently invest the money in other renewable options.

https://www.euronews.com/green/2022/02/09/major-nuclear-fusion-breakthrough-could-bring-us-closer-to-carbon-free-energy

News 2:
Tokamak Energy is developing an experiment which consists of generating energy through nuclear fission (the way the sun works). If successful, this experiment could be an important step in the development of clean and green energy. Unlike nuclear fission, nuclear fusion does not generate hazardous waste. Fusion cannot produce a runaway chain reaction, like the one that occurred at Chernobyl in 1986, so there is no need for an exclusion zone around Milton Park, Didcot, where the reactor is located.

https://www.euronews.com/green/2022/02/21/is-nuclear-fusion-the-hottest-new-renewable-on-the-block

News 3:
China is also realizing its artificial sun which has already achieved temperatures 5 times higher than the sun. The achievement brings scientists a small but significant step closer to creating an almost limitless source of clean energy. Elsewhere, the first viable fusion reactor could be completed in the United States by 2025, and a British company hopes to commercially generate electricity from fusion by 2030.

https://www.livescience.com/chinas-1-trillion-artificial-sun-fusion-reactor-just-got-five-times-hotter-than-the-sun)

1. In this documentary, we see the life of superrich people in Africa, making us face a big contrast between rich and poor people, which also shows how impossible it is to accomplish this goal on this continent due to the unhealthy amount of people doing shocking jobs for a living.
Recovered from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uqb3nG4s4D8&t=1840s

2. In this piece of news, we can find that whether any African country manage to be the poorest, countries like Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo and Ethiopia are found in the top 5 of the highest number of extreme poor, with just Nigeria accounting for 14% of the world’s poorness, sadly this statistics seems to keep on growing due to the lack of opportunities.

Recovered from: https://theconversation.com/nigeria-will-have-to-dig-deep-to-overcome-entrenched-patterns-of-poverty-177855

3. In this article we can see that even though the panorama seems to be colorful there are still being big dark dots all over it we can compare this to the fact that African countries show mixed progress towards poverty reduction and half of them have an extreme poverty rate above 35%, which doesn’t make much sense due to the fact that the article claims that extreme poverty will become a predominantly Sub-Saharan African phenomenon in the coming decade, just Nigeria accounts for around 20% of the total poor in the region and is one of the economies with the largest number of extremely poor in the world.

Recovered from: https://blogs.worldbank.org/opendata/african-countries-show-mixed-progress-towards-poverty-reduction-and-half-them-have-extreme

News 1: Indigenous authorities, social leaders, and even the Catholic Church have denounced the situation of recruitment of minors for the indigenous people in the department of Choco by armed groups such as the FARC, the ELN, and the AGG. There is deep concern about the number of young people who have taken their own lives to avoid being forced to take part in the violent and inhumane practices of these armed groups. Authorities assume that the number of suicides may be higher than 30 because there are still victims who do not want to denounce as this puts their families in danger. This also occurs in Antioquia, Nariño, and Cauca, departments considered as the scenarios of governmental negligence.
https://www.rcnradio.com/colombia/pacifico/unos-30-ninos-indigenas-se-han-suicidado-en-choco-para-evitar-ser-reclutados-por

News 2: Peasant families in the rural area of Cúcuta are victims of armed groups that threaten to take their children, especially if they are boys, to serve and train in their camps. This is the case of Inés Rodríguez who had to flee her home in El Tarra, El Catatumbo, to protect her children. In 2020, her first son, aged 16, was recruited by the EPL and held there for months, until one day he escaped to the city with the help of his mother. The family continued to live in the area in fear of being killed until the second son, aged 11, was found and recruited by the same armed group. As a result, the family decided to move to the city to avoid the young boy being kidnapped and taken to war by the EPL.
https://www.rcnradio.com/colombia/santanderes/mujer-huyo-del-catatumbo-para-salvar-a-sus-hijos-del-reclutamiento-forzado

News 3: Forced recruitment is not only seen in indigenous and Afro-descendant children and youth but also migrants, mainly Venezuelan families who come from their country to Colombia looking for better opportunities. This phenomenon happens in the north of the department of Cauca, where groups like the FARC and ELN take children to teach them how to "scrape coca" or, in many cases, how to kill. They take advantage of the situation of poverty and the need of the families to use their children in armed conflict, which shows how five years after the signing of the Peace Accord, the non-compliance with the parameters and the violation of human rights continues.
https://www.rcnradio.com/colombia/sur/reclutamiento-de-ninos-venezolanos-se-disparo-en-el-norte-del-cauca-denuncian-victimas

Rainbow Railroad is a Canadian charity created to rescue LGBTQ people whose lives are in imminent danger from state-tolerated anti-gay terror. The organization takes its name and is inspired by the Underground Railroad, a group of abolitionists who helped endangered slaves flee the American South and escape to freedom through a secret network of safe houses and hideouts during the U.S. Civil War.Since its founding in 2006, Rainbow Railroad has received hundreds of requests for emergency assistance from people in Uganda, Jamaica, Syria, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and several other countries. At any given time, Rainbow Railroad is processing 30 to 50 open cases, verifying the facts of each case, connecting people in danger with people and organizations in their areas that are in a position to help, and ultimately putting them on an escape path to a safe country where they can apply for asylum. Because the number of people who need help is so large, Rainbow Railroad can only help those in the most imminent danger of violence, imprisonment or death.

During 2020, approximately 305 social leaders and human rights defenders were murdered in Colombia. Colombia is the most dangerous countries in the world for activist, the drug traffic, Guerrillas or paramilitaries commit murders in areas where leaders are loved by the people, this is not only seen now but before, we must understand that here free expression is given but is quiet and no longer think of others and the progress of the people, campaigns overshadowed the war, such as the rights of indigenous and Afro-Colombian people, land reform, protecting the environment and corruption free government. A more obvious reason is the rise of armed groups that are fighting for control of territories vacated by the FARC.

All the people say me who we can control all of this And the answer is to put an end to the conflict but with governments like these it will never happen, change is demanded, the word must always be valid, Free speech is free but even the powerful send to kill people who do not suit them because the people are not given the word in countries like Colombia for example even the vote is stolen, young people so they make strikes or criticize because they deserve a change and that change will be had.

For instance the conflicts should have to cease and it is sworn that it will happen more when it comes to candidates for the presidency of colombia seeking votes for that neither Now the questions are: Will more examples of society continue to be killed? Yes, will the conflict in villages continue? Yes, will the young people continue with the change they want? Yes, all this will happen until we see the light with hope we could go back with a country rich in health, life and joyful people.

Today, electric power is one of the most important parts of society. However, conventional energy sources, such as burning coal or gas, are worsening climate change. As an alternative, some governments have started to implement different sources of electric power such as solar energy, wind energy and atomic energy.

Atomic power is more efficient than other renewable energy sources and produces less CO2 emissions, according to the UN. However, there is controversy with its use due to the Chernobyl nuclear accident and its consequences. In addition, commercial nuclear reactors use nuclear fission, a process that generates radioactive waste.

For this reason, some governments (UK, France, China, USA) are trying to create nuclear fusion reactors. Tokamak energy is currently developing an experiment that consists of generating energy in this way. If successful, this experiment could be an important step in the development of clean and environmentally friendly energy sources. In China, they have built a reactor that has already reached temperatures five times higher than those of the sun. This achievement brings scientists a small but significant step closer to creating an almost unlimited source of clean energy.

For anybody is a secret that throughout the entire history Africa has been concerned everyone due to its poverty, while they're reaching their limit the solutions seems to be nonexistent.

African poverty is alarming, countries like Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo and Ethiopia are found in the top 5 of the highest number of extreme poor, with just Nigeria accounting for 14% of the world’s poorness, even though Africa shows slightly a way to improve, the issues still being bigger, for example, the existence of superrich people in Africa is a summary of how this is one in a million case, having the poverty statistics growing due to the lack of opportunities as a proof, all of this is happening due to the lack of opportunities mixed with the lack of knowledge.

To stop this problematic there are many steps to follow:
1. equality and representation
2. access to education
3. end conflict
4. development

The biggest problem is homophobia because that is why sometimes people are cruel starting that we should not have to fight for rights since the mere fact of being people already makes us have rights to choose what we want and that sometimes these rights are denied to people is unfair I think people should not change their way of thinking but rather respect the right of people to live as they want

Everyone should think of his or her own well-being and not judge people without knowing them . In conclusion, people should sometimes meddle in their own lives and not those of others For example the adoption of same sex couples is a very controversial issue which should not be because for example who will raise the child are the parents not the rest of the people and it is idiotic to think that because the child is raised by 2 fathers or 2 mothers the child will belong to the lgbt community People should change that poor and ignorant thinking.

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, thousands of people were affected by the shelling, with their homes destroyed and others were left without their entire families. In the first place, Russia should not have attacked Ukraine in such an atrocious way and without thinking about the consequences and the damage it would do to so many people, affecting them not only physically but also psychologically for the rest of their lives.

As a result, these people had to migrate to different places around Ukraine to receive shelter.UNHCR, the United Nations agency for refugees in the world, reported that one million civilians have already left Ukraine and had to go to another country. Poland, with more than 575,000 people, is the country that has taken in the most Ukrainians. In addition, adding internal displacements, two million people had to leave their homes. The estimate of four million people affected would exceed the Balkan War on the continent.Up to 50,000 refugees have been arriving each day in the Polish town of Przemyśl near the border with Ukraine, with hundreds more arriving at other frontier crossing points. Warsaw has thus far spent €1.6 billion to manage the influx of people escaping the Russian invasion.

To my mind, I feel that both parts should open a dialogue table in which they agree on different strategies to manage this confrontation in the best possible way, without bombings or situations that harm the population of each country.
