A house is a structure of some sort of minerals and wood something in which you put furniture, electricity, and other belongings. You could also move to somewhere else but it will be a similar type of structure. (if you still have money). In a house, you feel comfortable and you could invite friends to socialize in a comfortable and cozy house. It has walls, a roof, probably a kitchen and a living room. It may also have a bedroom and a bathroom. Usually it is made of wood or something that keeps heat in. The house must also have a strong foundation under it. However, you cannot call it a home if you don’t feel welcomed there.
     A home does not have to be a house. A home is anywhere you feel welcomed or safe. If you lived in a cave for a long time, you would probably consider it home. You would feel more comfortable in it because you have lived there for a while and you know the place very well. So if you moved from any place you have been for a while, it might take awhile to get adjusted to it, or to call it home. Therefore, a home is a welcoming, safe, and warm place for you and your family to live, not just a building.

That's pretty much all there is to it.

     However, a home is a place where someone feels most comfortable, where all their friends and or family are. This could be a place where they just go to hang out with their friends all the time, or at their work.  It doesn't always have to be your house, it could also be school, your work, the mall, anywhere that you would be most comfortable.

     Now, a home  different from a house because a home is a place is surrounded with things you love and make you feel comfortable like your family, your bed, maybe even your favorite teddy bear. It all is just a matter of how you feel about where you live. So do you live in a house or a home?
